Last night we had a dinner party, the suggestion was for a progressive dinner but we ended up enjoying the space under Pauline and Les's (biggest) awning, to hold a three course meal. Pauline was in charge of the entree with Tasmanian Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese on crusty bread as well as Bruschetta. Carlene cooked a delicious leg of lamb that had a guarantee of originating from Victoria and I was in charge of the steamed and roast veggies. Maureen & James made delicious pancakes with tropical berries and ice cream, so after all the prep work carried out in 30 degree heat the eight of us had a very enjoyable evening much to the envy of the rest of the park.
Early this morning Pauline and Carlene went on a mission around the park to round up all the Tasmanian's for Happy Hour tonight, one lady had rollers ( thought they were a thing of the past) in her hair and another man was in his shortie pjs a good way to break the ice and get familiar. We all met at the BBQ in the pool area, and of course there were some of us that had mutual acquaintance's in common, must be careful who you talk about even this far from home.
